Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Seattle at Greenwood is seeking an energetic and organized Center Director to lead our quality early childhood program.

You will manage the full operations, including staff scheduling, program planning, family relations, enrollments, and compliance with WA licensing.

The role requires at least two years in center management, an AA degree or higher, and strong communication skills; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role.
• Credentials required for Center Director per WA licensing or willingness to obtain shortly after joining.
• Knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and developmentally appropriate practices.
• AA degree in childcare or management, or related field.

We are Kiddie Academy (KAGS Group). A group of locally owned educational childcare centers in the Greater Seattle area. KAGS Group academies are located atBellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek, and Seattle.

Position Overview:

You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Position Requirements:

·Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role.

·Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining

·A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

·Must have at least an AA degree in childcare or management, or related field.

·Strong verbal and written communication skills

·Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
