Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Pembroke, MA is seeking an experienced Center Director to oversee operations, ensure EEC compliance, and lead a dedicated teaching team.

The role requires Massachusetts EEC Director II certification, an Associate's degree, 2–4 years of leadership experience, and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education. Competitive salary $68,000–$73,000 with KPI bonus and full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all center operations, ensuring full compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations and licensing.
• Ensure and implement state-mandated ratios and safety/education regulations.
• Prepare for licensing visits and communicate with licensors as regulations change.
• Maintain compliant staff and child files and conduct monthly fire drills.
• Schedule staff within payroll budgets while meeting licensure and quality standards.
• Coach and support teaching staff to build a cohesive team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom ratios during ramp-up of a new center.
• Implement a developmental, multicultural curriculum across classrooms.
• Guide staff in assessing and recording child growth and observations.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings, one-on-one check-ins, and parent meetings.
• Partner with families to enhance communication and drive enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom ratios during the critical ramp-up period of a new center
• Ensure implementation of a developmental, multicultural curriculum that supports skill progression and social development across all classrooms
• Guide staff in assessing and recording child growth and observations in Teacher Strategies Gold
• Conduct monthly staff meetings, one‑on‑one check‑ins with staff, and parent meetings as needed
• Partner with families to build strong communication and drive enrollment as the center establishes itself in the community

In addition to an annual salary, our Center Directors are eligible for an annual KPI‑based bonus plan.
