If so, we want to meet you!

At Sylvan Learning of Nebraska, we believe every student has the ability to succeed when they have the right support, instruction, and encouragement. Our Center Directors play a critical role in making that happen. They lead the day-to-day operations of the center while building strong relationships with students, families, instructors, and the surrounding community.

We are looking for a Center Director who is excited to lead a team, grow a business, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families.

  • Drive enrollment and sales - Follow up with prospective families, conduct consultations, make recommendations, and work toward monthly and annual enrollment goals.

  • Monitor student progress - Review assessments and student progress, communicate results with families, and make recommendations when a student's needs change.

  • Manage center operations - Ensure the center runs efficiently, professionally, and according to Sylvan standards.

  • Support instructional quality - Work closely with instructors to ensure students are receiving high-quality, engaging instruction.

  • Build community relationships - Develop relationships with schools, businesses, community organizations, and other local partners to increase awareness of Sylvan.

  • Lead local marketing efforts - Help create visibility for the center through community events, social media, school relationships, referrals, and other outreach opportunities.

  • Manage financial performance - Work toward sales, enrollment, and expense goals while taking ownership of the overall performance of the center.

  • Create an exceptional customer experience - Make sure every family and student feels welcomed, valued, and confident in the support they receive.

  • Interested in learning the business side of education and developing leadership skills

Qualifications

  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Must be comfortable working some early evening hours and occasional Saturday mornings

What We Offer
