Learning Care is hiring a Center Director in Lake Mohegan, NY. This role leads a child care center, oversees daily operations, supports teachers, and engages with families to ensure a warm, safe learning environment.

You will manage staff schedules, ensure licensing compliance, and promote a strong community partnership. The compensation range and benefits reflect our commitment to rewarding experience and education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

In a Center Director, we look for committed individuals who want to have a positive impact in the lives of children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all school operations. The Director promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children and works with the staff to create a warm, inspiring environment, while keeping parents informed and engaged.

As a Director, you will:

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $68,900-78,700/salary based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
