Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Director for our Gainesville, FL location to lead a high-quality early childhood program.

You will supervise staff, implement the company curriculum, and maintain license and safety standards while communicating with families and supporting children’s growth.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements.
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules, evaluate staff performance, and develop performance improvement plans.
• Assist with curriculum implementation and coach teachers.
• Ensure school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Provide an educational, caring and safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote the company’s image and act as a provider of choice in educational programs.
• Recruit, select and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred
