Job summary

The Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) is seeking a Center Custodian to join the Firehouse Active Adult Center in Philadelphia. This full-time role ensures cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of the facility in accordance with health and senior center standards.

Qualified applicants will have high school or vocational training and at least four years of related maintenance experience, including cleaning of high-traffic areas and minor repairs; HVAC familiarity and delivery

Description of Role:

Under the supervision of the Center Director, the Custodian provides cleaning and sanitation services for the Senior Center facility and ensures proper maintenance of all areas of the facility in accordance with Health Department and Senior Center Standards. Performs minor maintenance and repairs, as needed.
