Job summary

Lionsgate Academy Charter School in North St. Paul, MN is seeking a Center Based Paraprofessional to support students on the autism spectrum. The role involves assisting higher-behavior students and providing personal care from 7:45 to 4:15 on weekdays.

Salary ranges from $22 to $23 per hour with 80 hours PTO, dental, medical/vision, disability benefits, and a state pension. Prior school experience and knowledge of Google Apps are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate a computer and the software needed to complete tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with limited moving violations.

• Are scheduled day shift, 7:45-4:15 - no nights or weekends

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
• Valid driver’s license/ability to transport students via school vehicle (must have 3 or less moving violations in the last three years and no DWI/DUI convictions within the past 5 years).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 year degree or a minimum of 60 college credits OR successful completion of the ParaPro exam.
• We partner with staff to meet Highly Qualified requirements.
• Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum and low incidence disabilities.
• One year previous experience in a middle school, high school setting or transition setting.
• Knowledge and experience working with Google Apps
