KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, following menus created by our in-house nutritionist. You will support daily center operations, ensure safety and hygiene, and help meet licensing requirements while collaborating with center staff.

We value candidates with experience in institutional cooking, a love for kids, and the ability to communicate in English with families.

Qualifications

• Love for children and desire to make a daily difference.
• Know how to store and handle food safely and address allergies.
• Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare appropriate quantities.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portions.
• Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain one.
• At least one year of institutional cooking experience is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience working with children is highly desirable.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilités

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies as needed.
• Dispense and store medication as requested.
• Complete timely documentation per KinderCare and regulatory requirements.
• Support center duties and collaborate with staff and leadership to meet goals.
• Contribute to center enrollment, accreditation, and engagement efforts.
