Strategic Montessori and Therapy Center in Lawrenceville, NJ seeks a passionate BCBA to lead and oversee ABA treatment for preschoolers with autism. You will develop and supervise individualized programs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families to support skill development and behavior reduction.

The role offers flexible scheduling within a center-based program, with supervision of RBTs/ABA Therapists and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required and active
• Master's degree in ABA, psychology, education or related field
• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to supervise, train, and mentor RBTs/ABA Therapists

Responsibilities

About Strategic Montessori and Therapy Center

Strategic Montessori and Therapy Center is a center-based ABA program serving preschool-aged children ages 2–5 with autism in Mercer County, NJ.

Our program combines evidence-based ABA with a warm, engaging, Montessori-inspired environment. We provide individualized, one-on-one therapy within a structured setting designed to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Founded in 2020 as an in-home ABA provider, Strategic Therapy expanded into our dedicated center in 2023. We are a women-owned and operated organization led by two licensed behavior analysts with more than 20 years of combined experience.

The Opportunity

As a BCBA, you will develop, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment programs for preschool-aged children with autism and other developmental, behavioral, social, and communication needs. You'll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to create meaningful change, support families, mentor therapists, and celebrate the progress of the children you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans
• Conduct and interpret behavioral assessments
• Create skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Monitor client progress and make data-driven treatment modifications
• Provide ongoing supervision and support to RBTs and ABA Therapists
• Train staff on individualized programs, ABA procedures, and data collection
• Monitor treatment integrity and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with families regarding assessments, treatment recommendations, and progress
• Provide caregiver training and support as appropriate
• Collaborate with BCBAs, ABA Therapists, and other members of the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure services meet ethical, clinical, regulatory, and payer requirements

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification
• Current New Jersey BCBA license or ability to obtain prior to starting
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to effectively supervise, train, and mentor direct-care staff
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA practice
