Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification is required.
• New Jersey BCBA license or ability to obtain before starting.
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to supervise, train, and mentor direct-care staff.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct and interpret behavioral assessments.
• Create skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment based on data.
• Provide ongoing supervision and support to RBTs and ABA Therapists.
• Train staff on programs, ABA procedures, and data collection.
• Monitor treatment integrity and give constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with families on assessments, treatment recommendations, and progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure services meet ethical, clinical, regulatory, and payer requirements.

About Strategic Montessori and Therapy Center

Strategic Montessori and Therapy Center is a center-based ABA program serving preschool-aged children ages 2-5 with autism in Mercer County, NJ.

Our program combines evidence-based ABA with a warm, engaging, Montessori-inspired environment. We provide individualized, one-on-one therapy within a structured setting designed to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Founded in 2020 as an in-home ABA provider, Strategic Therapy expanded into our dedicated center in 2023. We are a women-owned and operated organization led by two licensed behavior analysts with more than 20 years of combined experience.

The Opportunity

As a BCBA, you will develop, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment programs for preschool-aged children with autism and other developmental, behavioral, social, and communication needs. You'll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to create meaningful change, support families, mentor therapists, and celebrate the progress of the children you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans

• Monitor client progress and make data-driven treatment modificationsProvide ongoing supervision and support to RBTs and ABA Therapists
• Train staff on individualized programs, ABA procedures, and data collection
• Monitor treatment integrity and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with families regarding assessments, treatment recommendations, and progress
• Provide caregiver training and support as appropriate
• Collaborate with BCBAs, ABA Therapists, and other members of the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure services meet ethical, clinical, regulatory, and payer requirements

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification
• Current New Jersey BCBA license or ability to obtain prior to starting
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to effectively supervise, train, and mentor direct-care staff
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA practice
