Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Center-Based ABA Therapist/RBT in Baldwin, NY to work Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm. You will collaborate with Clinical Supervisors to implement ABA procedures and collect data on learner progress, striving to obtain RBT credentials within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA experience with children or adolescents in a supervised setting.
• Experience with challenging behaviors preferred.
• Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work safely with individuals with challenging behaviors.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors BCBAs to implement ABA teaching procedures.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Acquire and maintain RBT credential within the first 90 days of employment.
• Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
• Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate the company core values.
