Job summary

Family of Kidz in Baldwin, NY is seeking an ABA Therapist/RBT to join our center-based program. You will work with clinical supervisors to implement ABA teaching procedures, collect data, and support learners in a compassionate, safe environment.

The role requires an RBT credential (or current progress toward) and a minimum of 6 months ABA experience with children or adolescents in supervised settings. Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional stairs may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA experience with children or adolescents in a supervised setting.
• Experience with challenging behaviors preferred.
• Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and maneuver various postures as needed.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors BCBAs to implement ABA teaching procedures.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Acquire and maintain RBT credential within the first 90 days.
• Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
• Manage learners including crisis intervention protocols while ensuring safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate the company core values.
