Job summary

Triumph is hiring a Center Based Teacher for a preschool in Taunton, MA. The role involves guiding a classroom, implementing curriculum, arranging materials, and maintaining a safe, welcoming learning environment for young children.

Requires an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, MA EEC Preschool certification, and 1–2 years’ experience. Bilingual applicants (Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian-Creole) are encouraged. Shift 8:00 am–3:00 pm, 32.5 hours/week, benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Preschool certified or agency offers certification.
• Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices with 1-2 years’ minimum experience with preschool children.
• Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities for children.
• Communicating with families about their children's development and progress.
• Guide and facilitate activities of the children, including curriculum implementation, daily activities, field trips, selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom.
• Complete and submit required forms and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Participate in pre-service training, in-service training, and other mandatory training requirements to meet EEC and Head Start requirements.

Center Based Teacher - Preschool

Triumph supports the education, well-being and self-sufficiency of young children and their families through high quality early childhood programs and community engagement.

As a Center based teacher, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding activities for a preschool classroom, including curriculum implementation, daily classroom activities, and selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom including maintaining a safe, neat, organized learning environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and high functioning.

Responsibilities:

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range between $21.14 - $29.06/hr . dependent on education and experience

Monday-Friday; 32.5 hours per week; 52 weeks per year
