Job summary

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced CEMS/COMS Field Service Technician to perform field service, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, compliance testing, installation, and commissioning of CEMS and COMS at industrial facilities across the United States.

The role involves a strong background in industrial electronics and instrumentation, with preferred experience on Teledyne or Rosemount equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing process gas analyzers, COMS, or CEMS.
Minimum 2 years of field service experience.
Experience with Teledyne, Rosemount, or similar CEMS/COMS equipment strongly preferred.
Experience working for or servicing equipment manufactured by Teledyne or Rosemount is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform EPA COMS Title V audits and 40 CFR Part 75 Cylinder Gas Audits (CGAs).
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and testing of COMS and CEMS equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair Teledyne LightHawk 560 opacity monitors and CEMS equipment from various manufacturers.
Diagnose equipment failures through disassembly, inspection, component replacement, testing, and documentation.
Troubleshoot 4–20 mA signal loops, DC circuits, gas pressure and flow systems, and electronic components.
Use multimeters, loop calibrators, valves, regulators, pressure sensors, flow sensors, and other electronic test equipment.
Perform installation, startup, commissioning, retrofits, and upgrades of monitoring systems.
Replace and install components including sample probes, heated sample lines, wiring, tubing, and related hardware.
Update data acquisition system parameters following maintenance, repairs, and compliance audits.
Interpret schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Provide technical support to customers by phone and through remote digital interfaces.
Determine repair requirements, source necessary parts, and coordinate repairs.
Maintain accurate service, maintenance, repair, and compliance documentation.
Support the repair depot in Wooster when not working in the field.
