Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Cemetery Operations Maintenance Lead to guide crews in completing cemetery maintenance tasks. You will help prepare gravesites, operate lowering devices, and assist in burial/entombment procedures while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance within the park.

You will review daily schedules with supervision, coach staff, and adapt assignments to service needs, maintaining equipment and adhering to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 2 years industry experience; interment layout and cemetery maintenance preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with power/electrical tools and manual hand tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Manual digging and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Being considerate of ongoing services, may adjust assignments to different areas of the Park.Proficiently performs cemetery maintenance responsibilities along with staff. Duties include but not limited to, installing outer burial containers; lowering device set up; burial, entombment, interment openings and closings procedures; properly hand digging graves and disinterment, and; maintaining tools and equipment.Guides, trains, and provides constructive feedback to staff.
