Service Corporation International is seeking an entry-level Groundskeeper in Hughson, CA. The role involves maintaining cemetery grounds, mowing, trimming, and operating lawn care equipment to uphold a pristine appearance.

Responsibilities include assisting with interment-related tasks, grave layout, and minor repairs, while following safety and regulatory guidelines. This position is full-time and outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant labor or landscaping experience; funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, waters lawns, fertilizes, trims shrubs, and maintains flower beds.
• Operates mowers, snow blowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers and related equipment.
• Removes debris and assists in openings/closings for interments as needed.
• Assists in grave location/layout and adheres to verification procedures.
• May perform minor cemetery repairs and assist with cremation-related duties under supervision.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
