Responsibilities include operating grounds equipment, assisting in grave layout, and performing minor repairs, all while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant groundskeeping/maintenance experience.
• Funeral industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, water lawns, fertilize and trim shrubs; maintain flower beds and inspect work areas.
• Operate lawn and grounds equipment (mowers, snow blowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers).
• Remove debris and trash from grounds; assist in openings/closings for interments.
• Assist in determining grave locations and layout with supervision; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with cremation-related duties under supervision; move/install burial vaults as required.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA/regulatory guidelines; work with teams to complete tasks.
• Adhere to company procedures and perform duties in a respectful, professional manner.
