Everstory Partners in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery grounds, perform landscape tasks, and ensure safety for visitors and staff. You will operate maintenance equipment, install vaults or headstones as needed, and perform general maintenance across the site.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.
• Maintain equipment and keep the grounds clean and safe.
• Support funeral services as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and responsibly.
• Assist in installing cemetery vaults and headstones when required.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Assist with snow removal when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
