Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking an entry-level Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery and funeral home grounds in the US. You will mow, trim, weed, water, fertilize, and inspect grounds while assisting with interments and grave layout under supervision.

The role requires physical labor, the ability to work in all weather, and safe operation of lawn equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in landscaping or related fields; funeral industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in landscaping, physical labor or similar roles.
• Funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, plows snow, waters lawns, fertilizes and trims shrubs, tends flower beds and inspects work areas.
• Operates lawn equipment including mowers, snow blowers, trimmers and leaf blowers.
• Removes debris from grounds and assists with interments and grave layout as needed.
• Complies with safety rules and regulatory procedures.
• May assist in moving burial vaults and minor repairs on site.
