Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation in Columbia, TN is seeking a Groundskeeper to assist facilities staff with lawn maintenance around the facility. Responsibilities include trimming hedges, mulching, leaf removal, and keeping parking areas clean.

You will operate lawn equipment, follow safety guidelines, and support team with daily tasks. A high school diploma and 6 months grounds experience preferred; ability to work outdoors in varying weather is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months’ grounds experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
• Must be able to promote a positive work environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of lawn equipment and basic maintenance is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lawn and landscape around the facility.
• Trims hedges, mulches flower beds, rakes leaves and removes debris.
• Keeps parking areas clean and may power wash as needed.
• Performs snow and ice removal during inclement weather.
• Keeps lawn equipment serviced and clean after use.
• Supports team with daily tasks and adheres to safety procedures.
