Job summary

Everstory Partners in Riverview, FL is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, perform repairs, and ensure safety for visitors and staff. You will handle mowing, weed-whacking, equipment upkeep, and assist in funeral-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years of maintenance or related field experience.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain cemetery equipment.
• All functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist in installations.
• Install headstones or memorials as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Handle snow removal (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
