The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, a valid Florida driver’s license, and flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency is required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain grounds and equipment.
• Contribute to funeral services operations as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and correctly.
• Assist in installing cemetery vaults and memorials as required.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance tasks and snow removal if applicable.
