Service Corporation International in Seattle, WA is seeking a seasoned Cemetery Maintenance leader to oversee operations across multiple cemeteries. You will set work expectations, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure a manicured appearance while complying with environmental and wildlife regulations.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, and capital expenditure coordination with the home office.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least eight years cemetery maintenance with increasing responsibilities.
• Two years minimum supervising and managing staff.
• Environmental regulatory compliance experience.
• New Construction / capital expenditure development experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: staff and public safety regulations and wildlife regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operations of multiple cemeteries and ensure services meet customer expectations.
• Establish and communicate work, quality, and safety expectations.
• Coordinate staff work and time-off schedules to ensure coverage and minimize overtime.
• Manage grounds keeping, landscaping, and seasonal plantings for a manicured appearance.
• AOR may include funeral homes, crematories, or mausoleums; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with local government authorities to facilitate issue resolution.
• Identify and implement efficiencies; support change initiatives; source and select vendors.
• Procure, store, and maintain inventory of tools, materials, equipment and lawn treatments.
• Review and approve invoices for payment.
• Maintain equipment in proper working order; manage mausoleum construction drawings and issues.
• Collaborate with home office on capital expenditure projects and budgets.
