Job summary

Everstory Partners in the United States (New Jersey) is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, supervise safety, and support funeral services. You will perform landscape maintenance, operate equipment, and assist with vaults and headstones as needed.

A strong focus on customer service and safety is essential. The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, High School equivalency, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a valid driver’s license; holiday/evening/weekend availability

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks (weed-whacking, mowing, etc.).
• Maintain equipment and related maintenance duties.
• All functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely and correctly.
• Install cemetery vaults or headstones as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Handle snow removal (if applicable).
• Report to Grounds Superintendent and assist as needed.
