Qualifications

• Ability to operate mechanical equipment (dump truck, tractor, utility vehicle, backhoe).
• Ability to read measuring devices (tape measure, yardstick).
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, contractors, and families.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and heavy equipment for loading, hauling, and unloading of materials.
• Operate various heavy equipment (bulldozer, backhoe, loader, excavators, etc.).
• Maintain cemetery grounds and assist with burials and interments.
• Set and install memorials and outer burial containers.
• Follow interment verification procedures and safety rules.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and keep work area clean.
• Report equipment defects to supervisor.
• Complete training courses as assigned.
