Job summary

SCI in Mayaguez is seeking a Grounds & Facilities Supervisor to oversee cemetery and funeral location grounds. You will organize daily work, supervise staff, and ensure burials and memorials are prepared to client families’ expectations.

Responsibilities include safety training, inventory, and maintaining equipment; coordination with Location Manager and Office Manager. A High school diploma is preferred; funeral industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Funeral industry experience would be a plus.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise grounds staff daily, including grave site prep and memorial setup.
• Recruit and manage performance; discharge staff if necessary.
• Ensure interments are accurately located and sites prepared for services.
