Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Lab Technician I-III to support field operations by conducting tests on cement, fluids, and oilfield chemicals according to established procedures. You will ensure test results are accurate, well-documented, and presented clearly for internal and client use.

This role emphasizes maintaining lab safety, equipment, cleanliness, and inventory, with opportunities to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of laboratory experience with sensitive instruments and testing procedures.
• PEC Safeland USA Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab tests involving cement, water, and oilfield chemicals using standardized procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as cement consistometers, rheometers/viscometers, ovens, and water baths.
• Record all test data, calculations, and observations clearly in lab notebooks and databases.
• Create plots and visuals from test data for client reports.
• Maintain lab safety, equipment, and inventory, ensuring traceability of samples.
