Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator for our bulk cement terminal in Fargo, ND.

You will operate railcar unloading systems, load/unload cement, and monitor transfer equipment to keep material moving safely. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, basic mechanical repairs, ensuring accurate orders and inventory records, and maintaining a strong focus on safety in an outdoor, industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, mechanical, rail, construction, or heavy equipment environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools for troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Experience operating or working around heavy equipment, conveyors, or bulk material systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment and daily operations.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bulk cement terminal equipment, including railcar unloading systems and material transfer equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance to keep equipment running and minimize downtime.
• Load and unload cement from railcars and trucks while ensuring efficient and safe material flow.
• Inspect equipment, identify issues, and complete basic mechanical repairs using tools and diagnostic skills.
• Ensure accuracy of orders, documentation, and inventory records.
