Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company in Louisiana is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely unload cement from rail cars, move railcars, and perform basic maintenance at the terminal. The role requires flexibility to work other shifts and long hours; strong safety discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand warning labels, instructions and signs.
• Will training be provided; able to learn quickly with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Unload cement from rail cars and move railcars to optimize unloading efficiency.
• Operate equipment such as skid steer, track mobile/shuttle wagon, and utility vehicle.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping of the terminal.
• Follow all safety guidelines and assist with cross-training responsibilities.
