Job summary

GCC is a world-class company producing and distributing cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, and related products in the US and Mexico. This role involves loading and distributing cement, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient terminal operations.

You will unload from railcars and trucks, process related paperwork, and coordinate with drivers and offices to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries. A strong mechanical aptitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use personal computers and software programs.
• Mechanical ability is required.
• Knowledge of cement and ready-mix operations is desirable.
• Knowledge of transportation industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Unload cement from railcars, store and load into trucks.
• Process paperwork related to distribution: invoices, bills of lading, and railcar coordination.
• Load cement into trucks and ensure on-time delivery in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintain, repair, and replace machinery and equipment at the terminal.
• Operate forklift, track mobile, and other terminal equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain inventory and collect cement samples; monitor gauges and pressures.
