Job summary

Drake is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical expertise across cement manufacturing operations. You will analyze process data, drive continuous improvement, and support safe, reliable plant performance.

You will work with production, maintenance, reliability and quality teams to optimize kiln and grinding systems, reduce energy use and improve product quality. The role requires hands-on engineering with field presence and the ability to translate data into practical improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• At least 3 years in process/production engineering in heavy industrial environments; cement experience preferred.
• Experience with kiln and grinding systems; process optimization and control.
• Proven ability to analyze data and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize cement manufacturing processes including crushing, raw grinding, pyroprocessing, clinker cooling, finish grinding and material handling systems.
• Analyze operating data, process trends and KPIs to identify constraints, efficiency losses and improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical support to production teams in troubleshooting instability, losses and challenges.
• Lead optimization of kiln, preheater, calciner, cooler and grinding systems to improve throughput and product quality.
• Conduct process audits, heat and mass balances, equipment performance evaluations and technical studies.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce energy and production costs.
