Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks a Cement Plant Leader in Nazareth, PA to guide safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations and build a high-performing team. Reporting to the Regional VP of Operations, you will drive performance, manage budgets and CAPEX, and champion safety and environmental compliance.

You need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or proven cement-industry leadership; strong operations, maintenance, and union experience; and the ability to lead from the field,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or proven cement plant leadership.
• Extensive cement industry experience in production, maintenance, or plant operations.
• Ability to drive change and improve performance in challenging environments.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field and work outdoors with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, and efficient daily cement plant operations.
• Build a high-performing team through clear expectations, accountability, coaching, and development.
• Drive operational improvement initiatives and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality, and labor standards.
• Manage budgets, resources, production planning, and plant performance.
• Develop long-term stay-in-business (SIB) and improvement CAPEX strategies.
• Foster partnerships with corporate support, sales, logistics, union leadership, and local stakeholders.
