Job summary

Amrize in Florence, CO is seeking a Mechanical Technician to keep plant production and service equipment in reliable operating condition and perform maintenance, welding, and alignments.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of mechanical/maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, and basic computer/MS Office/SAP skills. Pay is $31.53 per hour.

This full-time hourly role includes travel <10% and opportunities for growth within Amrize North America.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years as mechanical or maintenance technician.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance work on plant production and service equipment.
• Maintains tools used within department.
• Responsible for repair and elimination of product spillage.
• Operates equipment such as a forklift, skid loader, and teleforker.
• Performs welding and alignment tasks.
• Adheres to EHS and safety policies in all tasks.
