Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for our cement plant in Midlothian, Texas. You will lead mechanical maintenance programs, manage crews, and partner with planning and procurement to ensure reliable operations.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative and reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous cement experience with cement equipment maintenance preferred.
• Mining & Heavy Industry experience.
• Technician Development experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all crew members and maintain plant safety standards.
• Initiate work orders and coordinate with execution teams for quality maintenance.
• Perform regular equipment inspections using vibration, oil, NDT, ultrasonic and thermal imaging techniques.
• Oversee maintenance shop and vehicles to ensure safety, inspection, and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with Planner/Inspector for off-site rebuild inspections when required.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and outage plans with Maintenance Planner/Inspector.
• Support reliability goals and key maintenance KPIs to drive cost reduction.
