Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Cement Technician in Bloomsdale, MO, offering an hourly pay range of $29.50–$35.00. The role is full-time / hourly, focused on operation and industrial maintenance of the cement plant.

You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs while upholding strict safety standards. The ideal candidate has a high mechanical aptitude, at least 1 year in heavy manufacturing, and the ability to work shifts in outdoor, dusty environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work outside, at heights, in dusty environments and confined spaces.
• Must be able to work any shift as required.
• Ideal candidates would have a high mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a team based environment.
• Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Must wear PPE including respirators and be clean shaven for fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cement plant equipment.
• Perform walk-by inspections and create checklists.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment during operation and reduce downtime.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with team members.
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE at all times.
• Support health, safety and environmental initiatives.
