Job summary

Ozinga Bros, Inc. is seeking a lab technician to test cement and related materials to support concrete quality. You will prepare, label, and track samples, use and maintain lab equipment, and keep thorough records while following safe work practices.

Work closely with the Lab Director and Technical Services team in a hands-on role. Analytic skills and reliability are important as the position supports ongoing concrete production and material testing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Hands-on and able to use tools and equipment safely.
• DOT or ACI certification is a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (entering results, tracking samples, email).
• Concrete testing or materials testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test cement and related materials to support concrete quality.
• Prep, label, and track samples; keep results organized.
• Use and check lab equipment; keep tools in good working order.
• Maintain clear records and follow safe work practices.
• Work closely with the Lab Director and the Technical Services team.
