Job summary

Zenith Tech Inc., a Walbec Group company in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is seeking a Cement Mason / Concrete Finisher for road, highway, and bridge projects. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, and Class A CDL is strongly desired, along with prior construction experience.

This role involves assisting in the placement and finishing of concrete surfaces in various conditions. Union employees enjoy quality benefits, and training is available for development.

Overview

Zenith Tech Inc., a Walbec Group company, is a leader in heavy and highway construction located in Southeast Wisconsin. We are seeking a Cement Mason / Concrete Finisher to work on road, highway, and bridge projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the placement of concrete and perform final finishing of concrete surfaces.
• Execute other duties as assigned by the foreman or management.
• Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure a level finish.
• Fill roadways and driveways as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL strongly desired.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable, able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions, in dirty and dusty environments, and within close quarters to strip concrete forms.
• Member of a local cement masons union, or willingness to become a union member.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
