Job summary

ProPetro is seeking a DOT Cement Equipment Operator to operate and maintain cement job equipment, inspect vehicles, and keep accurate daily logs. You will rig up and rig down, assist with on-site housekeeping, and ensure adherence to HSE policies.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT tests and a road exam. Expect 12+ hour shifts, variable days/nights, and work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Maintain a valid CDL and clean driving record.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Able to drive manual transmission.
• Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety regs.
• Able to pass DOT pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Able to pass a road test.
• Able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Able to perform pre- and post-trip CMV inspections.
• Familiar with electronic logging devices (ELD).
• Clear communication and ability to work with others.
• Follow verbal and written directions in English.
• Work under time-sensitive deadlines including emergencies.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, crawl and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Work 12+ hour shifts with days/nights, weekends, holidays.
• Work safely in all weather conditions.

Job Summary

The DOT Cement Equipment Operator operates and maintains equipment used in the cement job, performs vehicle or equipment inspections, maintains proper daily documentation of equipment, and performs rig up and rig down operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment used in the cement job (i.e., cement bulk equipment, field bins, and semi-trailers)
• Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (keep accurate driver's log, submit driver's log daily, accurately report mileage and fuel, and obey hours of service policies)
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure proper fluid levels, functioning brakes, working lights, and safe tire condition
• Maintain proper daily documentation of equipment and report any defective equipment to proper personnel
• Perform rig up and rig down operations
• Assist with the housekeeping on location before, during, and after the job
• Conduct proper Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and organization policy
• Maintain compliance with all HSE policies by attending required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Able to perform pre- and post-trip CMV inspection required
• Must be familiar with electronic logging devices
• Demonstrate the ability to work well with others, and work independently when required
• Demonstrate clear communication skills and the ability to interact with employees in the field and at all levels of the organization
• Able promptly follow verbal and written directions in English
• Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations
• Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
• Able to safely operate and maintain assigned equipment during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to perform duties safely in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
• Able to lift 25 lbs. over your head and up to 50 lbs. safely
• Can sit and stand on your feet for extended time
