Job summary

ProPetro is seeking a Cement Mechanic to perform regular and diesel maintenance on cement operation equipment on-site. The role involves responding to repair calls, processing work orders, and monitoring equipment with DL8 and Alison software to anticipate issues.

The position requires DL and a clean driving record, plus the ability to pass a drug test and medical exam, and to lift up to 50 lbs. Service trucks are provided for on-site work.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of regular or diesel mechanic experience.
• DL8 and Alison software knowledge required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Basic communication and computer skills; able to follow directions.
• Must provide own tools; service trucks will be provided for on-site work.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work long shifts including days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cement operations equipment (tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks, etc.).
• Respond to on-site repair calls at job locations.
• Process work orders daily.
• Monitor cement equipment to anticipate maintenance needs.
• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs.
• Uphold HSE policies; attend training and safety meetings; wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

The Cement Mechanic is experienced with regular or diesel mechanic work, maintains and repairs equipment used in cement operations, responds to calls to perform repairs on location, and uses DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment used in cement operations (i.e., tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks, etc.)
• Respond to calls to perform repairs at job location
• Process work orders daily
• Monitors cement equipment to anticipate future maintenance needs
• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience with regular or diesel mechanic work
• DL8 and Alison software knowledge is required
• Maintain a valid DL and clean driving record required
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical examination required
• Basic communication skills are required, able to interact with team and follow directions
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must provide own tools, service trucks will be provided for on-site work
• Freightliner maintenance experience is preferred
• Upholds a team player attitude with a hard work mentality
• Available to work a 14/7 shift, can safely perform required duties during a 12+ hour workday that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be physically able safely to lift 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. over head
• Must be physically able to stand or sit for extended periods, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout work shift.
