Job summary

Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a Cellular Therapy Technician to prepare hematopoietic stem cell components for transplantation, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate processing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or medical technology is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in hematology, blood bank, flow cytometry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine processing, cryopreservation and infusion preparation of hematopoietic cells for transplantation.
• Ensures compliance with CAP, FDA, CLIA, JCAHO, NCCLS, AABB and FACT standards.
• Assists in evaluating new procedures and instrumentation and contributes to research protocols.
