Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, CO seeks a Medical Technologist for Cellular Therapeutics to perform therapeutic apheresis, cellular collection/harvest, and processing for diverse patient populations in compliance with safety standards.

The role requires licensure/ certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist, with B.S. in Medical Technology or related field preferred, and strong communication and leadership abilities to work within a

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Medical Technology or related field (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) preferred.
• Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist certification by ASCP, NCA, or HEW (ISCLT). BLS required.
• Experience in phlebotomy, therapeutic apheresis, stem cell collection, bone marrow harvest, or cell processing/cryopreservation is desired but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and health care team members; able to lead a team and ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic apheresis and cellular collection/harvest and processing for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in compliance with standards.
• Provide basic patient care, access central lines, and monitor vital signs.
• Lead and collaborate with the CT team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
• Support continuous improvement through formal and informal education.
