Job summary

Settlement Music School in Philadelphia invites applications for cello faculty openings across multiple branches. The successful candidate will join a vibrant faculty of 180 professionals, teaching primarily in the afternoon, evenings, and Saturdays, with a preference for candidates willing to work at multiple locations.

The role includes managing registration, scheduling, financial aid, student absences, recital accompanists, and other duties as needed, with a strong emphasis on diversity,

Qualifications

• 3+ years teaching experience with focus on beginners and intermediate students.
• Ability to foster a positive learning environment and rapport with students and families.
• Attendance at Annual Faculty Meeting (paid).

Responsibilities

• Teach cello at multiple branches and/or multiple afternoons and evenings.
• Support the overall mission and engage in the work of Settlement Music School.
• Assist with enrollment, scheduling, and student progress where applicable.
