Job summary

Petaluma, part of Vinarchy Group, seeks a friendly Cellar Door Host to greet visitors, guide tastings and tell the winery story at our historic cellar door. You’ll support the Cellar Door Manager and team to deliver memorable experiences that convert guests into lifelong fans.

Join a brand with history and heart, delivering hospitality in a fast-paced environment while promoting our Wine Club and premium portfolio. Weekend work and some manual handling are expected.

Qualifications

• Wine knowledge and genuine passion for hospitality.
• RSA and a valid driver’s licence.
• WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine qualification.

Responsibilities

• Host tastings, tours and premium experiences with confidence and personality.
• Promote the Wine Club and welcome new members.
• Operate POS systems, balance tills and manage daily opening/closing.
• Pick, pack and dispatch wine orders.
• Prepare simple food offerings.
• Maintain a spotless, well‑stocked cellar door.
• Support events that celebrate our historic site and premium wines.
• Grow our member base through in‑house promotions and telephone marketing.
