Job summary

Oliver Winery is seeking a Cellar Assistant Level I to join the Winemaking team in Bloomington. You will assist in daily winemaking activities, work primarily in the cellar, and support other departments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining safety standards, and performing additional duties as assigned by management. Candidates should have a strong interest in wine and be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate’s degree or equivalent combination of coursework and work history.
• Must be over 21 years of age and able to taste, smell and see (color vision).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insured on company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists the winemaking team in daily activities.
• Works mainly in winemaking, but may help in other departments as needed.
• Performs winemaking tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Follows general operations, safety and wine additions SOPs as directed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
