Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Director of Manufacturing Technology Lead for Cell Therapy to drive evaluation and deployment of new technologies across the manufacturing network.

The role focuses on leading large-scale deployments, ensuring GMP compliance, and advancing digital and AI transformation within a regulated biopharma environment. Onsite work with travel implied, reporting to the Manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Robotics engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing technology with 5+ years leading large-scale deployments in regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing, automation, robotics, AI, or analytical platforms.
• Proven experience managing complex tech transfers from proof-of-concept to validated GMP operations.
• Leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing interface in technology assessments.
• Evaluate scalability, operability, and regulatory impact.
• Develop detailed deployment plans.
• Coordinate technology rollouts.
• Support digital and AI transformation initiatives.
• Enable operator training post-implementation.
