Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an accomplished Lead Facilities Engineer to drive cell therapy manufacturing infrastructure, ensuring adherence to design standards, contamination control, and risk mitigation. You will lead multi-site initiatives, evaluate network expansion, and guide capital investments.

The role requires deep GMP facility knowledge, expertise in cleanroom operations, and collaboration with real estate, engineering, and operations teams. Hybrid or on-site setup expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharma/biotech facilities engineering, with 5+ years in multi-site roles.
• Experience with cell therapy, biologics, or ATMP facility design.
• Expertise in contamination control strategies, cleanroom standards, GMP facility requirements, and equipment qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop user requirements for facilities projects.
• Evaluate network expansion and guide capital investments.
• Assess site risks and standardize operating models across supply sites.
• Support digital/AI technology deployment in facilities.
• Collaborate with real estate, engineering and operations teams.
• Support SHE management and sustainability initiatives.
