Job Title

Cell Processing Technologist (CVPF)

Job Summary

This position carries out day‑to‑day activities related to the conduct of cell and gene therapy clinical trials. Primary responsibilities include operating bioprocessing equipment, executing routine culture maintenance and following established basic Standard Operating Procedures. This includes basic laboratory techniques suited for manufacturing of routine cellular therapy products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Aseptic cell processing following established Standard Operating Procedures. Accurate documentation following Good Documentation Practices. Prepare cell processing materials, media, and raw materials required to perform cellular manufacturing processes.
  • Perform required daily maintenance of clinical cell cultures. Perform cryopreservation of cell therapy products using a controlled‑rate freezer.
  • Proficient operation of cell processing equipment, which may include automated cell washer, controlled rate freezer, biological safety cabinets, culture incubators, liquid nitrogen freezers, tubing welders and sealers and others as assigned.
  • Compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Accurate documentation of deviations and unexpected events.
  • Remain current on required trainings.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
