Job summary

Amtel Repair is seeking a Cell Phone Repair Technician in Conroe, TX to repair phones and tablets and to provide exceptional customer service. The role offers base pay with bonuses, and the team emphasizes solving challenging tech problems for a wide range of devices.

Candidates should be personable, tech-savvy, and willing to learn electronic repairs; sales experience is a plus and cross-training opportunities exist within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics.
• Selling accessories, device care along with smart watches, headsets and other like products.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Sales experience is a big plus.
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications)

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.
