Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC is building an Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) and seeks a seasoned Cell Leader to support the site startup on-site and to lead long-term production planning.

You will guide skilled teams, drive continuous improvement, and reinforce 100% dedication to Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and the Standard Production System (SPS). Collaborating with cross-functional groups, you will address challenges and align with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 8+ years relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the start-up of the facility, onboard, train and direct skilled employees
• Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement aligned with Control Tower objectives
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, production, procurement and cost reduction via SPS
• Perform daily supervisory duties, project management and cross‑group coordination
• Establish work schedules based on customer requirements and resource availability
• Provide leadership with an emphasis on team building through toolbox meetings
