Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Manager Clinical Trials to lead complex research projects across single or multiple sites. The role directly supervises research staff for planning, oversight and coordination of trials, ensuring quality and timelines while maintaining compliance with regulations.

The position also provides guidance to HMRI leadership, oversees staffing, budget compliance, and policy implementation to ensure a safe, efficient work environment and strong ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline/life sciences (or relevant field) or nursing degree (BSN) required depending on the therapeutic area served.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of the clinical trials unit and staff to ensure quality, timelines, and compliance.
• Monitors progress, quality of services, and regulatory adherence across studies.
• Provides guidance to department and HMRI leadership on trial issues and development.
